BMW 2.5L M50 (Single Vanos) Pistons

The BMW 2.5L M50 pistons are engineered for mild to high tuning, ideal for road or club race cars aiming for high mileage and street use. Designed by ZRP engineers and manufactured in Germany from 4032 (T6) high-silicon, low-expansion alloy, these pistons allow for a closer piston to bore clearance, enhancing seal and minimizing slapping noise during cold starts. The full round skirt design with a bottom reinforcing band and deeper valve pockets accommodates high lift camshaft profiles. Offset pins ensure quiet operation, and the wrist pins are crafted from 9310 alloy. Additional features include anti-detonation grooves, a gas pressure accumulator groove, and a premium Japanese quality ring package.
