Audi / VW 2.0L TFSI Pistons

The Audi / VW 2.0L TFSI pistons are engineered for mild to high tuning applications, suitable for road or club race cars aiming for enhanced engine performance and longevity. Crafted by ZRP engineers in Germany from 4032 (T6) high-silicon, low-expansion alloy, these pistons allow for closer piston-to-bore clearance, resulting in improved sealing and reduced slapping noise during cold starts, a common issue with forged pistons. This design promotes quieter operation and lower oil consumption.

Features include a full round skirt design with a bottom reinforcing band, oversized and deeper valve pockets to accommodate high lift camshaft profiles, and offset pins for quieter operation. The wrist pins are made from 9310 alloy, ensuring durability. Additional features include:

• Anti-detonation grooves for long wear life and performance
• Gas pressure accumulator groove in the second ring land for extended wear life
• Horizontal slots in the pin bore to facilitate oil entry between the wrist pin and pin bore area
• Precision CNC machined ring grooves
• Honed pin bores
• Clip cuts on the edge of the intake side
• Full round skirt design with bottom reinforcing band for high horsepower and boost applications
• Valve pockets designed for oversized valves and high lift camshafts
• Optimized squish design for longer engine life and increased horsepower potential

Note: Pistons are designed for use in all engine configurations with a 21.00mm pin.
