High quality exhaust wrap can withstand temperatures of up to 800 degrees C, and temporarily up to 1000 degrees C. It is designed for wrapping the manifold and other exhaust system components, significantly reducing the temperature under the hood. When used in turbocharged vehicles, it can also slightly reduce turbo lag by enhancing exhaust gas energy.
