Installation Notes

• M12 threads must be made in the engine block.
• Use a 12.5 mm drill bit to drill the head gasket, head washers (all 14 pcs.), and the cylinder head to 12.5 mm diameter.
• Recommended: Loctite 3020 for head gasket assembly.

Torque Procedure

• Use grease and a torque wrench.
• Tighten all nuts clockwise in steps: 40 Nm, then 80 Nm, then 110 Nm.
• Do not over-tighten: the studs can handle up to ~150 Nm, but the cylinder head may not.
