ARP Pro Series Head Stud Kit for VW 1.9L & 2.0L TDI PD
This ARP head stud kit is a direct drop-in for VW 1.9L and 2.0L TDI PD engines and does not require any modification.
Construction & Manufacturing
- Manufactured from premium 8740 alloy.
- Precisely heat-treated to 200,000 psi with studs positioned vertically in special racks to promote full heat penetration.
- Centerless ground after heat treatment for near-perfect concentricity.
- Centerless grinding is performed in multiple light passes to produce an exceptionally straight stud.
- Threads are roll-formed in bar stock (typically prior to heat treatment).
Fitment & Alignment
Built to tight tolerances to help gaskets and cylinder heads locate cleanly and align accurately during assembly.
