ARP Pro Series head bolts are commonly used in all-out competition engines where consistent clamping and repeatable results matter.
Materials & Manufacturing
- Manufactured from premium grade 8740 alloy steel.
- Bolts are placed vertically in special racks and heat-treated to 200,000 psi.
- After heat-treating, each bolt is centerless ground for near-perfect concentricity.
- The centerless grinding process uses about ten very light cuts to produce an exceptionally straight bolt.
