CANchecked MFA2.0 Gen2 Data Display Kit for Nissan 200SX S13

This vehicle-specific kit integrates the CANchecked MFA2.0 Gen2 into the OEM dash using a dedicated bezel and connection kit. The OLED screen stays readable even in direct sunlight, and operation is via the Gen1-style rotary knob.

WiFi configuration (oDSS)

Access the device via WiFi and set it up from a smartphone or PC. Using oDSS you can configure the display, upload your own startup image, update the display, and log values (license required).

Supported ECU values and protocols

The display is compatible with ISO 11898-2 and SAE J2284. Which values are available depends on what your ECU transmits over CAN; documentation (including DBC files) can be important. Depending on manufacturer, up to 64 sensors can be queried.

OBD2 queries via CAN bus (11bit/29bit) are implemented. Vehicle-specific protocols like UDS or TP2 are also available.

If the desired ECU is not listed, the appropriate TRI/TRX can be downloaded or requested from the database.

For VAG vehicles from model year 2008 (in individual cases also older), in-depth protocol-based queries are available, including values such as oil temperature, boost pressure, transmission temperature, cylinder selective ignition angle return, high/low pressure, wastegate actuation, and more.

Integrated LED (shift light / warning)

The internal LED can be configured as a shift light or as a warning LED.

• Shift light: Up to 8 colors, RPM limits, and a configurable flash start point.
• Warning LED: Set minimum/maximum thresholds per sensor; the LED flashes in the configured color when limits are exceeded/undercut. Shift light is disabled during the warning period.

Analog inputs and sensor support

Six analog inputs support linear 0–5V and NTC sensors. Factory-stored characteristic curves provide plug & play support for CANchecked sensors:

• AIN1: Temperature sensor (NTC01)
• AIN2: Transducer for exhaust gas temperature probe type K (TCC01)
• AIN3: Pressure sensor 0–10 bar (FLP01)
• AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0–5.5 bar absolute (BST01)
• AIN5: Not preconfigured
• AIN6: Not preconfigured

For connection, a pre-assembled 4-way AIN harness can be used. With the appropriate license*, an ethanol sensor can additionally be connected directly to the display via a separate pin.

Live Logging

With the "Live Logging" license, the display can log sensor data into oDSS and the log can be downloaded to a smartphone or PC.

All sensors are logged in the log (ATTENTION: for OBD and UDS only the currently displayed ones!). Select the sensors you want to display graphically.

Flex Fuel (ethanol sensor direct to display)

With the ethanol sensor license, connect the sensor directly to the display. A 10K pull-up resistor is required between 5V and the signal. Ethanol content and fuel temperature can be displayed and logged.

CAN Switching and AIN forwarding

With the CAN Switching/AIN forwarding license, use the display keys or rotary knob to switch CAN switches and apply analog input voltages to the CAN bus.
