ECR matting is an insulating material consisting of textured continuous glass fibres. It is utilized in various applications due to its high thermal resistance, excellent acoustic properties, and mechanical strength. Common uses include car and motorbike silencers, quads (ATV tuning and motorsport), power generators, technical equipment, industrial exhaust systems, gas and steam exhausts, industrial noise absorbers, acoustic enclosures and screens, welding equipment, bakery equipment, heat insulating covers, and protective clothing.
