Dynapro Lug Mount
The DynaPro Lug Mount (DP) forged billet caliper is designed as an upgrade or replacement for the Dynalite model series. DP calipers integrate advanced race technology with exclusive Wilwood performance enhancements, featuring a sleek profile, superior strength, and a fully machined finish suitable for both competition and show.
The DynaPro's strength is achieved through a combination of innovative processes and design. It is stress-flow forged from premium grade billet, which realigns the grain structure of the metal, resulting in superior strength compared to parts machined from straight grained blocks. The body design incorporates a fortified radial transition that eliminates steps and shoulders between the piston housings and bridges, enhancing resistance to deflection and caliper body separation under load. Testing has demonstrated reduced structural deflection and fluid volume displacement, leading to improved clamping efficiency and less pedal travel, resulting in a firm, responsive pedal with exceptional stopping power.
Additional enhancements include Quick-E-Clip pad retainers that support a 7812 type brake pad from the top, allowing for quick pad service without caliper removal. The removal of bottom pad supports creates a slimmer profile for easier fitting in tight clearance applications.
