Installation Notes

• Carrier-adjustment shims required: Needed to set preload and backlash correctly.
• Shims let you: Dial factory backlash, center the ring gear for a clean contact pattern, and eliminate whine, heat build-up, and premature wear.
• TIP: We stock shim packs in 0.1 mm increments to fine-tune preload and backlash without chasing OEM spacers.
