The TurboWorks downpipe is made of 100% stainless steel.
The set also includes a heat shield for the downpipe.
The double-layer heat shield is used to protect surrounding parts and hoses from thermal radiation from the pipes.
Integrated thermal insulation reduces the surface temperature by up to 70%! Which makes it an absolute winner compared to regular thermal tapes or ceramic coatings.
This is very important not only for safety reasons, but also affects engine performance by lowering the temperature in the chamber.
