MT-85 is a full-synthetic ester-based lubricant designed for use in manual transmissions and front-wheel-drive transaxles. This shear-stable formula resists breakdown for extended periods and offers consistent viscosity in both warm and cold temperatures, resulting in reduced gear noise and improved shifting. The fluid is less slippery, enhancing the synchroniser coefficient of friction while providing stronger film strength for better wear protection.
