FTWL Motorsport Oil Pump Upgrade Kit – BMW M50 / M52 / M54

This kit is designed as a direct replacement for the factory oil pump shaft and includes the key upgraded hardware needed for a more secure oil pump drive setup.

Kit Contents

• Upgraded oil pump shaft
• Modified sprocket nut
• Cotter pin

Versions / Fitment

• Version 1: M50 non-VANOS, M50 VANOS, M52 single VANOS
• Version 2: M52TU and M54 (available separately)

Materials & Construction

• Bearing steel shaft (65 HRC surface hardness with a softer core)
• HQ modified BMW sprocket
• Each product is stress tested

Installation Notes

Installation requires access to a press. The original shaft must be pressed out of the inner rotor, and the new shaft pressed in to the correct depth. Measure the position of the original shaft before removal (a digital caliper is recommended).

For M52TU/M54 engines, loss of oil pressure can be costly—addressing the oil pump drive hardware proactively is recommended.
