The Opel 2.0L 16v H-Beam Connecting Rods are crafted from 4340 high tensile steel, ensuring high performance and exceptional durability. The pin end features a ribbed design to reduce distortion under heavy inertial loads while minimizing excess weight. The bushings are constructed from AMPCO 18 material, providing excellent wear and fatigue resistance, and include a radial groove that acts as an oil reservoir. Each rod undergoes shot peening to relieve material stress and is subjected to multi-stage heat treatment to enhance rigidity. The precise tolerances achieved during production guarantee a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances, with controlled bend and twist characteristics.

Each rod is equipped with ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional upgrade to ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi. The complete kit includes ARP moly and comprehensive fitting instructions.
