I-Beam Heavy Duty Connecting Rods for Honda K20

The I-Beam “Heavy Duty” series connecting rods are designed for high horsepower and boost applications in Honda K20 engines. Constructed from premium 4340 high tensile steel, these rods feature a specially optimized shape that ensures high performance and extreme durability.

The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material, providing excellent resistance to wear and fatigue, and include a radial groove that acts as an oil reservoir. Each rod undergoes shot peening to relieve material stress and is multi-stage heat treated to enhance rigidity. The production process maintains tight tolerances for perfect fitment and optimized oil clearances, while controlling bend and twist.

Each connecting rod is equipped with 3/8 ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional upgrade to ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi. The kit includes ARP moly and comprehensive fitting instructions.
