Honda K20 H-Beam Connecting Rods

The Honda K20 H-Beam Connecting Rods are crafted from 4340 high tensile steel, ensuring high performance and exceptional durability. Their “Ultra-Lightweight” design merges lightweight performance with proven reliability at elevated RPMs.

The bushings are constructed from aluminum-silicon/bronze material, featuring a radial groove that serves as an oil reservoir. The rods are designed with a ribbed pin end to minimize distortion under heavy inertial loads while reducing excess weight. They undergo shot peening to relieve material stress and are multi-stage heat treated to enhance rigidity. Tight tolerances during production guarantee a precise fit while optimizing oil clearances, with controlled bend and twist.

Each rod is equipped with ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, with an optional upgrade to ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi. The complete kit includes ARP moly and comprehensive fitting instructions.
