The Competition high-performance charge air cooler features generous dimensions of 550 mm x 445 mm x 70 mm, providing a total volume of 17,130 cm³. This size offers a 134% larger inflow area and a 105% increase in charge air volume compared to the standard intercooler. The high-quality Tube Fin mesh with internal turbulators ensures optimum airflow and maximum cooling performance. Despite its size, the intercooler weighs just 9.5 kg, contributing to weight savings and improved vehicle dynamics.

The cast aluminum end boxes have been optimized through flow analyses in the CFD system to achieve outstanding cooling performance with minimal backpressure. The connection diameters at the intercooler inlet are Ø62 mm, and at the outlet, Ø67 mm, ensuring optimum flow efficiency.

Additionally, an anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction properties is applied to all charge air coolers, ensuring lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The intercooler kit is ready to install and can be easily replaced with the stock intercooler - simply plug and play. It has been tested up to 6 bar and is pressure stable, ensuring reliability.
