MLX Gasket Details
MLX (Multi-Layer-Steel-Stopper) construction uses an extra stopper fold-over layer to create a torque-limiting surface that helps prevent yielding of the combustion seals. A high-temperature polymer coating and embossments provide micro-sealing for fluids between the head and block surfaces.
