Design Notes

This MLX Gasket (Multi-Layer-Steel-Stopper) uses an extra “stopper” fold-over layer to provide a torque-limiting surface that helps prevent yielding of the combustion seals. A high-temperature polymer coating and embossments support micro-sealing for fluids between the head and block surfaces.
