About MLX Gaskets

MLX (Multi-Layer-Steel-Stopper) construction uses an additional stopper fold-over layer to create a torque-limiting surface designed to help prevent yielding at the combustion seals. A high-temperature polymer coating and embossments provide micro-sealing for fluids between the cylinder head and block.
