This MLX head gasket uses a Multi-Layer-Steel-Stopper design with an additional fold-over stopper layer to provide a torque-limiting surface that helps prevent yielding at the combustion seals. High-temperature polymer coating and embossed layers help create a micro-seal for fluid control between the head and block surfaces.
