Collinite No. 845 Insulator Wax is a more user-friendly take on the No. 476s paste, built for easy DIY application on both small and large surface areas when long-lasting protection matters and heavy buffing or frequent reapplication isn’t practical. It leaves a carnauba-based shine with a durable coating designed to help preserve the finish and resist UV, rain, snow, salt, dust, dirt, grime, bugs, staining, and more. Directions

• Shake well before use (place a finger over the cap). Viscosity may vary.
• Apply to a dry, pre-cleaned (contaminant-free) surface that feels lukewarm to the touch.

By Hand

• Apply a small drop/dab to a microfiber applicator pad.
• Spread thin and evenly over a 2x2 ft section.
• As soon as the wax dries/hazes, buff off with a dry microfiber towel, turning frequently.

By Machine

• Prime a finishing pad with 4 pea-sized drops.
• Work in overlapping passes over a 2x2 ft section, spreading evenly.
• As soon as the wax dries/hazes, buff off with a dry microfiber towel, turning frequently.
• For remaining sections, apply 2 pea-sized drops to the pad.

Applications

• Vehicles/equipment: Car, truck, boat, bike, RV, aircraft, personal watercraft, snowmobile, ATV, tractor/farm equipment, golf cart, snowplow.
• Surfaces: Exterior gel coat, fiberglass, clear coat, single stage and lacquer paints.
• Not recommended for: Rubber, non-skid, black trim, vinyl, glass, or non-painted plastic.
