Cobra Lambda Sensor Extension Elbow SpecificationsThis Cobra stainless steel elbow allows the lambda sensor to be decoyed after the installation of a high flow sports catalyst or a de-cat and thus to switch off the dashboard engine light. This warning light comes on because the sensor detects an increase in CO2 values due to the increased gas flow and identifies this as a fault.This lamda sensor extender solves this problem by taking the sensor out of the gas stream and fooling it into thinking that gas levels have not increased. It fits most sensors with a 1/2 inch diameter tip and is easily installed between the exhaust and the lambda sensor.Note: Depending on the vehicle model this extender does not guarantee that the dashboard indicator light will go out.
