BMW 5-Series E6x LHD Display (MFD28 Gen2)

This vehicle-specific display for BMW 5-Series E6x left-hand-drive (LHD) models integrates into the factory cockpit using a custom bezel. It reads vehicle data directly via a specially adapted CAN-Bus protocol for fast polling and presents it on an integrated MFD28 Gen2 display.

Vehicle Data (via included pre-configured TRI file)

Included by default: a pre-configured TRI file containing all queryable sensors. Availability depends on engine/vehicle.

• Temperatures: engine coolant, intake air, exhaust gas, transmission
• Pressures: boost, ambient, oil pressure
• Lambda/fueling: lambda target/actual, short-term and long-term lambda adaptation, MAF, engine load, torque
• Driver dynamics: brake pressure, vehicle speed, throttle angle/pedal position
• Other: RPM, total ignition angle, gear, battery voltage, ignition angle correction per cylinder

Analog Inputs & Supported CANchecked Sensors

The TRI/TRX files already include CANchecked display sensors; connect and configure as needed:

• AIN1: temperature sensor
• AIN2: Type K exhaust gas temperature probe
• AIN3: 0–10 bar pressure sensor
• AIN4: 0–5.5 bar absolute boost pressure sensor

Expansion Options

• External 8-LED flash module connection (multi-color RPM limit indication; configured via the display)
• Ethanol content and temperature logging via direct ethanol sensor connection

Compatibility

Fits BMW 5-Series E6x LHD models, including M models. A right-hand-drive (RHD) version is also available.
