Dodge RAM MK5 MFD28 Gen2 CAN-Bus Data Display (2021+)

This vehicle-specific display integrates an MFD28 Gen2 data screen into the ventilation grille of Dodge RAM MK5 models (from 2021). It reads vehicle data directly via a specially adapted CAN-Bus protocol for fast polling and presents key engine and drivetrain information at eye level using a custom-fit bezel.

Vehicle Data (via CAN-Bus)

A pre-configured TRI file is supplied by default. Available channels may vary by engine.

• Temperatures: engine coolant, intake air, exhaust, transmission, rear differential, 4x tire temperature
• Pressures: boost, ambient, oil pressure, 4x tire pressure
• Lambda/Fuel mixture: lambda target/actual, short-term and long-term lambda adaptation, MAF, engine load, torque
• Driver dynamics: brake pressure, vehicle speed, throttle angle/pedal position
• Other: RPM, total ignition timing, gear, battery voltage

Analog Inputs & Expansion

Four analog inputs allow additional monitoring (for example: oil temperature, fuel pressure, oil pressure, exhaust temperature). An ethanol sensor can be read and logged when connected.

Supported pre-integrated sensor assignments in the TRI/TRX files:

• AIN1: temperature sensor
• AIN2: Type K exhaust temperature probe
• AIN3: pressure sensor 0–10 bar
• AIN4: boost pressure sensor 0–5.5 bar absolute

An external 8-LED flash module can be connected for RPM-based shift/limit indication, with colors configurable through the display.

Advanced Features

• Math Channels: combine and process sensor values
• User Tables: create additional channels using 2D or 3D maps
