CANchecked MFD15 Gen2 Display for Audi TT 8J
The CANchecked MFD15 Gen2 is a compact 52 mm OLED display for monitoring relevant engine and vehicle data in your Audi TT 8J. The OLED panel remains easy to read in direct sunlight, and the 52 mm outer diameter fits common aftermarket interior bezels even without a vehicle-specific holder. Operation is via two windshield-mounted push buttons or an optional rotary knob.

Online DSS (oDSS) via WLAN
WLAN access lets you set up the MFD15 Gen2 from a smartphone or PC. With oDSS you can configure the display, upload a startup image, update the device, and log values (logging requires a license).
Supported values and ECU compatibility
The MFD15 Gen2 is compatible with ISO 11898-2 and SAE J2284. Which signals are available depends on what the ECU transmits on CAN; documentation (including DBC files) can be used and imported via DSS. Depending on the manufacturer, up to 64 sensors can be queried.
OBD2 over CAN (11-bit/29-bit) is supported, as well as vehicle-specific protocols such as UDS and TP2.

If an ECU is not listed, the appropriate TRI/TRX can be downloaded or requested from the database.
For VW/Audi vehicles from model year 2008, in-depth protocol-based queries are available, including values such as oil temperature, boost pressure, transmission temperature, cylinder-selective ignition angle retard, high/low pressure, wastegate actuation, and more.
Internal LED (shift light / warning)
The internal LED can be configured as a shift light or as a warning LED.
- Shift light: assign up to 8 colors, set RPM limits, and define the RPM where flashing begins.
- Warning LED: set minimum and maximum limits per sensor in oDSS (Sensors) and enable the LED. If a value exceeds limits, the LED flashes in the configured color. During a warning event, the shift light function is disabled.

Analog inputs (AIN)
Six analog inputs support linear 0–5 V sensors and NTC sensors. CANchecked sensor presets are stored in the TRI/TRX files by default:
- AIN1: Temperature sensor
- AIN2: Type K exhaust gas temperature transducer
- AIN3: 0–10 bar pressure sensor
- AIN4: 0–5.5 bar absolute boost pressure sensor
- AIN5: Not preconfigured
- AIN6: Not preconfigured
A pre-assembled 4-way AIN harness can be used for connection. With the appropriate license, an ethanol sensor can also be connected directly to the display via a separate pin.

Additional licenses
Live Logging
With the Live Logging license, the display can log sensor data to oDSS and you can download the log file to your smartphone or PC. All sensors are logged, but for OBD and UDS only the currently displayed sensors are logged.
Flex Fuel (ethanol sensor directly on the MFD15 Gen2)
With the ethanol sensor license, connect the sensor directly to the display. A 10 kΩ pull-up resistor is required between 5 V and signal. Ethanol content and fuel temperature can be displayed and logged.
CAN switching and AIN forwarding
With the CAN switching and AIN forwarding license, use the display buttons or rotary knob to switch CAN outputs and forward analog input voltages to the CAN bus.
