CANchecked MFD32 Gen2 for Seat Leon/Cupra 1M (vehicle-specific)

The CANchecked MFD32 Gen2 replaces your air vent with an integrated data display while still allowing airflow past the bezel. Designed for straightforward installation; illustrated instructions are available for most versions so it can typically be fitted without a workshop.

Display setup (DSS)

Customize pages and sensors using CANchecked DSS. Includes a log viewer for downloading and viewing log files, an integrated CAN logger, and a TRI editor to adjust sensors (CAN Bus or internal), set min/max warning thresholds, and rename sensors.

Supported values

The display supports CAN Bus data queries (UDS, TP2, manufacturer-specific protocols) and K-Line queries (ISO 9141). It is supplied with predefined TRI/TRX files that define which sensors are queried; these can vary by engine and can be expanded later if values are missing.

Examples of available data:

• Temperatures: Exhaust, coolant, oil, intake, outside, gasoline, DSG.
• Pressures: Boost, ambient, fuel pressure (pre-feed pump), rail pressure (actual/target).
• Lambda/mixture: Lambda value, injection time, short-term lambda adjustment, long-term lambda adjustment.
• Other: RPM, air mass, vehicle speed, throttle angle, total ignition angle, ignition angle retraction per cylinder, N75 timing (%), terminal 30 voltage, torque, gear, diesel-specific values.

Connection and expansion

Four analog inputs support linear 0–5V and NTC sensors. CANchecked sensors are already stored in the TRI/TRX files and only need to be connected:

• AIN1: Temperature sensor (NTC01)
• AIN2: Type K exhaust gas temperature converter (TCC01)
• AIN3: Pressure sensor 0–10 bar (FLP01)
• AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0–5.5 bar absolute (BST01)

A pre-assembled AIN wiring harness can be used for connection.

An external shift light with eight LEDs can also be connected; colours and RPM limits are configurable on the display.

The ethanol sensor connects directly to the display. A 10K pull-up resistor between 5V and signal is required to view and log ethanol content and temperature.

Advanced functions

• Math channels: Calculate sensors from other sensor inputs.
• User table: Create additional sensors using 2D or 3D maps.
