CANchecked MFD32 Gen2 for VW Polo MK6 (Typ AW)
The MFD32 Gen2 replaces the air-vent insert with a vehicle-specific display solution that remains usable as a vent. It’s designed for straightforward installation, with illustrated instructions available for most variants.

Display Setup Software (DSS)
DSS is used to configure the display, download and view log files, and use the integrated CAN logger. The integrated TRI Editor lets you adjust sensors (CAN Bus or internal), set min/max warning thresholds, and rename sensors.
Supported ECU values
The display supports CAN Bus data query (UDS, TP2, manufacturer-specific protocols) as well as K-Line (ISO 9141). It is delivered with predefined TRI/TRX files defining the sensors queried; coverage depends on engine. If values are missing, they can be added later.

- Exhaust temperature, coolant temperature, oil temperature, intake temperature, outside temperature, gasoline temperature, DSG temperature
Pressures
- Boost pressure, ambient pressure, fuel pressure (pre-feed pump), rail pressure (actual/target)
Lambda/mixture
- Lambda value, injection time, short-term lambda adjustment, long-term lambda adjustment
Other
- RPM, air mass, vehicle speed, throttle angle, total ignition angle, ignition angle retraction per cylinder, N75 timing (%), terminal 30 voltage, torque, gear, diesel-specific values
Connection and expansion
Four analog inputs support linear 0–5V sensors and NTC sensors. CANchecked sensors can be pre-defined in TRI/TRX files and only need to be connected.
- AIN1: Temperature sensor (NTC01)
- AIN2: Type K EGT converter (TCC01)
- AIN3: Pressure sensor 0–10 bar (FLP01)
- AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0–5.5 bar absolute (BST01)
An external shift light with eight LEDs can be connected; colours and shift points are configured on the display.
An ethanol sensor connects directly to the display; a 10k pull-up resistor between 5V and signal is required to view and log ethanol content and temperature.
