CANchecked MFD32 Gen2 for Subaru Impreza GR (incl. WRX)

The vehicle-specific MFD32 Gen2 replaces the air-vent insert with an integrated data display while still allowing airflow around the screen. Designed for straightforward installation, with illustrated instructions available for most displays.

Display Setup Software (DSS)

Customize pages, download and view log files with the integrated log viewer, and use the integrated CAN logger. The TRI Editor lets you adjust sensors (CAN bus or internal), set min/max warning thresholds, and rename sensors.

Data and supported values

The display supports CAN bus queries (UDS, TP2, manufacturer-specific protocols) and K-Line (ISO 9141). It is delivered with predefined TRI/TRX files that define the sensors queried (varies by engine). Missing values can be added later.

• Exhaust, coolant, oil, intake, outside, gasoline temperature, DSG temperature

• Boost, ambient, fuel pressure (pre-feed pump), rail pressure (actual/target)

Lambda/mixture

• Lambda value, injection time, short-term lambda adjustment, long-term lambda adjustment

Other

• RPM, air mass, vehicle speed, throttle angle, total ignition angle, ignition angle retraction per cylinder, N75 timing (%), terminal 30 voltage, torque, gear, diesel-specific values

Connection and expansion

Four analog inputs support linear 0–5V and NTC sensors. CANchecked sensors are predefined in the TRI/TRX files and only need to be connected:

• AIN1: Temperature sensor (NTC01)
• AIN2: Type K exhaust gas temperature converter (TCC01)
• AIN3: Pressure sensor 0–10 bar (FLP01)
• AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0–5.5 bar absolute (BST01)

A pre-assembled AIN wiring harness can be used for connection. An external 8-LED shift light can be added, with flash colours and shift points configured on the display. An ethanol sensor connects directly to the display; a 10k pull-up resistor between 5V and the signal is required to view and log ethanol content and temperature.
