CANchecked MFD32 Gen2 for Audi R8 MK1 FL (LHD)
The vehicle-specific MFD32 Gen2 replaces the air vent with an integrated data display while still allowing airflow past the screen. Installation is designed to be straightforward, and illustrated instructions are available for most displays.

Display Setup Software (DSS)
CANchecked DSS is used to customize the display, download and review logs with the integrated log viewer, and use the built-in CAN logger. The integrated TRI Editor lets you configure sensors (CAN bus or internal), including sensor naming and min/max warning thresholds.
Supported ECU/CAN values
The display supports CAN bus data query (UDS, TP2, manufacturer-specific protocols). It ships with predefined TRI/TRX files that define the sensors to be queried (varies by engine). Examples include:
Temperatures
- Exhaust temperature, coolant temperature, oil temperature, intake temperature, outside temperature, gasoline temperature, DSG temperature
Pressures
- Boost pressure, ambient pressure, fuel pressure (pre-feed pump), rail pressure (actual/target)
Lambda/mixture
- Lambda value, injection time, short-term lambda adjustment, long-term lambda adjustment
Other
- RPM, air mass, vehicle speed, throttle angle, total ignition angle, ignition angle retraction per cylinder, N75 timing (%), terminal 30 voltage, torque, gear, diesel-specific values
If values are missing, they can be added later.

Connection and expansion
Connect additional sensors via four analog inputs. Supported sensor types include linear 0–5V and NTC sensors. CANchecked in-house sensors are stored in the TRI/TRX files by default and only need to be connected:
- AIN1: Temperature sensor (NTC01)
- AIN2: Type K exhaust gas temperature converter (TCC01)
- AIN3: Pressure sensor 0–10 bar (FLP01)
- AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0–5.5 bar absolute (BST10)
A pre-assembled AIN wiring harness can be used for connection.
An external shift light with eight LEDs can be connected; flash colours and thresholds are configurable directly on the display.
An ethanol sensor connects directly to the display. A 10k pull-up resistor between 5V and the signal is required to view and log ethanol content and temperature.
