CANchecked MFD32 Gen2 for Audi A3/S3/RS3 (8Y)
The CANchecked MFD32 Gen2 replaces the air vent with a vehicle-specific integrated data display while still allowing airflow past the screen. Designed for straightforward installation; illustrated instructions are available for most variants, making DIY installation possible without a workshop.

Display Setup Software (DSS)
DSS enables full display customization and includes a log viewer for downloading and reviewing log files. It also integrates a CAN logger. The built-in TRI Editor lets you manage sensors (CAN Bus or internal), including naming and min/max warning thresholds.
Supported ECU values
The display supports CAN Bus data queries (UDS, TP2, manufacturer-specific protocols) and K-Line (ISO 9141). It ships with predefined TRI/TRX files that define the sensors queried; available channels vary by engine. If values are missing, they can be added later.

Connection and expansion
Four analog inputs support linear 0–5 V sensors as well as NTC sensors. CANchecked sensors are already defined in the TRI/TRX files and only need to be connected.
- AIN1: Temperature sensor (NTC01)
- AIN2: Type K exhaust gas temperature converter (TCC01)
- AIN3: Pressure sensor 0–10 bar (FLP01)
- AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0–5.5 bar absolute (BST01)
A pre-assembled AIN wiring harness can be used for connecting analog sensors. An external 8-LED shift light is also supported, with configurable colors and speed limits directly on the display.
An ethanol sensor can be connected directly to the display. A 10 kΩ pull-up resistor is required between 5 V and the signal line; ethanol content and temperature can then be displayed and logged.
Advanced functions
Math-Channels allow calculations between sensors. The User-Table can generate additional sensors using 2D or 3D maps.
