CANchecked MFD28 Gen2 for VW Corrado preFL (LHD) – Vent-Integrated Data Display
The CANchecked MFD28 Gen2 replaces the air vent insert with a vehicle-specific display mount that still allows airflow. It adds a touchscreen driver display with CAN/K-Line data, logging, alarms, and configurable layouts.

Supported data (examples)
The display supports ECU data requests via CAN Bus (UDS, TP2, manufacturer-specific protocols) and via K-Line (ISO 9141). It is supplied with predefined TRI/TRX files; available sensors depend on engine. Missing values can be added later.

- Exhaust temperature, coolant temperature, oil temperature, intake temperature, outside temperature, gasoline temperature, DSG temperature

- Boost pressure, ambient pressure, fuel pressure (pre-feed pump), rail pressure (actual/target)

Connection & expandability
Four analog inputs support linear 0–5 V sensors and NTC sensors. CANchecked sensors are predefined in the TRI/TRX files and only need to be connected.
- AIN1: Temperature sensor (NTC01)
- AIN2: Type K exhaust gas temperature converter (TCC01)
- AIN3: Pressure sensor 0–10 bar (FLP01)
- AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0–5.5 bar absolute (BST01)
An external 8-LED shift light can be connected, with configurable colors and thresholds. An ethanol sensor connects directly to the display; a 10 kΩ pull-up resistor between 5V and signal is required to view and log ethanol content and temperature.
