CANchecked MFD28 Gen2 for Nissan Patrol GYG1
The vehicle-specific MFD28 Gen2 replaces an air vent with an integrated data display while still allowing airflow past the screen. Designed for straightforward installation, with illustrated instructions available for most displays.

Display setup and logging
With CANchecked DSS you can customize pages, manage sensors, and review logs. It includes a log viewer, a CAN logger, and a TRI Editor to rename sensors and set min/max warning values for CAN bus and internal/analog channels.
Supported ECU values
The display supports CAN bus data queries (UDS, TP2, manufacturer-specific protocols) and K-Line (ISO 9141). It is delivered with predefined TRI/TRX files; available sensors vary by engine and can be expanded later if values are missing.

- RPM, air mass, vehicle speed, throttle angle, total ignition angle, ignition angle retraction per cylinder, N75 timing (%), terminal 30 voltage, torque, gear, diesel-specific values

Connection and expansion
Four analog inputs support linear 0–5 V signals and NTC sensors. CANchecked in-house sensors are already defined in the TRI/TRX files and can be connected directly:
- AIN1: Temperature sensor (NTC01)
- AIN2: Type K exhaust gas temperature converter (TCC01)
- AIN3: Pressure sensor 0–10 bar (FLP01)
- AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0–5.5 bar absolute (BST01)
A pre-assembled AIN wiring harness can be used for connection.
You can also connect an external shift light with eight LEDs; flash colours and RPM limits are configured on the display.
An ethanol sensor can be connected directly. A 10 kΩ pull-up resistor is required between 5 V and the signal, enabling ethanol content and temperature display and logging.
Advanced functions
Math channels allow you to calculate new values from existing sensors. The User Table enables additional sensor generation using 2D or 3D maps.
