CANchecked MFD15 Gen2 Data Display Kit for Skoda Octavia III (5E)
This vehicle-specific MFD15 Gen2 kit for the Skoda Octavia III (5E) keeps key engine and vehicle data in clear view. The OLED display is designed for strong readability, including in direct sunlight. The kit includes a vehicle-specific bezel and connection cable set, and is operated via two front push buttons. An optional external rotary knob can also be connected.

WiFi configuration with oDSS
The MFD15 Gen2 can be accessed over WiFi for configuration via smartphone or PC. Using oDSS, you can fully set up the display, upload a startup image, and update the device. Data logging in oDSS requires a license.
Supported ECUs, protocols, and values
The MFD15 Gen2 is compatible with ISO 11898-2 and SAE J2284. Which values you can display depends on what your ECU provides on the CAN bus; documentation such as a DBC file can be imported via DSS. Depending on manufacturer, up to 64 sensors can be queried.
OBD2 via CAN (11-bit/29-bit) is supported, and vehicle-specific protocols such as UDS and TP2 are available.

For VAG vehicles from model year 2008 (and in some cases older), in-depth protocol-based queries are available, including values such as oil temperature, boost pressure, transmission temperature, cylinder-selective ignition angle correction, high/low pressure, wastegate actuation, and more.
Integrated LED (shift light / warning)
The internal LED can be configured as:
- Shift light: up to 8 colors, with configurable RPM thresholds and flash point
- Warning LED: per-sensor min/max limits; LED flashes the configured color when out of range (shift light disabled during warning)

Analog inputs and sensor presets
Six analog inputs support 0–5V linear sensors and NTC sensors. CANchecked sensor curves are preloaded for plug-and-play operation on the following channels:
- AIN1: Temperature sensor (NTC01)
- AIN2: Type K EGT transducer (TCC01)
- AIN3: Pressure sensor 0–10 bar (FLP01)
- AIN4: Boost pressure sensor 0–5.5 bar absolute (BST01)
- AIN5: Not preconfigured
- AIN6: Not preconfigured
A pre-assembled 4-way AIN harness can be used for wiring. With the appropriate license, an ethanol sensor can be connected directly to a dedicated pin.

Additional licenses (optional)
Live Logging
With the “Live Logging” license, the display can log sensor data into oDSS and you can download the log file to your smartphone or PC. For OBD and UDS, only the currently displayed sensors are logged.
Flex Fuel (ethanol sensor directly on the MFD15 Gen2)
With the ethanol sensor license, the sensor connects directly to the display. A 10K pull-up resistor is required between 5V and the signal. Ethanol content and fuel temperature can be displayed and logged.
CAN switching and AIN forwarding
With the “CAN Switching and AIN forwarding” license, the display buttons (or rotary knob) can switch CAN functions and forward analog input voltages to the CAN bus.
