CLM Lock Kit (COELMOTORSPORT) – Drift Angle Kit

The CLM Lock kit is a drift-focused steering and suspension kit developed over two years of testing on the BMW E36 front suspension. Designed in 3D CAD and validated on track in Poland and across Europe, it is designed and manufactured in Poland using CNC processes (laser cutting, turning, milling, and hardening).

Vehicle Fitment

• Designed for BMW E30
• Also usable on BMW E36 and E46 when fitted with E36 shock absorbers
• Required: E36 lower-mount shock absorbers for all steering versions

Key Technical Features

• Factory Ackermann correction permanently removed
• Steering angle up to 70° (±5° depending on components used and the body)
• Designed to keep front wheels working parallel through the steering range
• Up to 40° steering, steering discrepancy does not exceed 15 minutes (1/4°)
• Crossovers redesigned in 3D CAD and manufactured on modern machines by certified professionals
• Reduced bump-steer by restoring the nominal (factory) swingarm position on lowered cars
• Roll-center correction by moving the wheel attachment point upward
• Track width increase: extends the suspension by an additional 3 cm, reducing the need for wheel spacers and lowering unsprung mass
• Adapted to reinforced BMW E46 rod ends
• Swingarms made from CNC-cut structural steel
• Upper shock relocators made from aluminum alloys
• Includes new reinforced fasteners (10.9 hardness)

Warranty

CLM set components are covered by a special warranty allowing a one-time free replacement of each damaged element after the damaged part is returned to the manufacturer, regardless of the cause of failure. Wear items are excluded, including bearings, pins, rods, and rod ends.
