BMW M57N / M57N2 / N57 Reinforced Clutch Set – Stage 1
Reinforced clutch set designed for BMW M57N, M57N2 and N57 engines paired with the BMW GS6-53DZ 6-speed gearbox (HGA, HGD, HGU, HGK, JGA, JGG, JGL and other codes). Direct plug-and-play fitment on the original dual-mass flywheel.
Key features
- Sachs Performance pressure plate (883082001243); clutch pedal effort is approximately 25% higher than stock
- Rigid clutch disc with reinforced LUK 8090S friction pads matched to the pressure plate
- Includes pressure plate mounting bolts and release bearing
Installation notes
- For proper operation, use a new flywheel or machine the friction surface of the existing dual-mass flywheel (maximum 0.1 mm from nominal; more can reduce clamping force)
- Break-in required: 5,000–6,000 gear changes before heavy load
Torque capacity
Potential 750–800 Nm depending on boost map aggressiveness, usage, and tire traction.
