FTWL Motorsport Oil Pump Upgrade Kit – BMW M50 / M52 / M54

Oil pump upgrade kit featuring an upgraded oil pump shaft, modified sprocket nut, and cotter pin.

Versions

• Version 1: M50 non-VANOS, M50 VANOS, and M52 single VANOS (available on other auctions)
• Version 2: M52TU and M54

Construction

• Bearing steel shaft with 65 HRC surface hardness and a soft core
• HQ modified BMW sprocket
• Each product is stress tested

Installation Notes

Direct replacement for the original oil pump shaft. Replacement requires access to a press: the old shaft must be pressed out of the inner rotor and the new shaft pressed in to the correct depth. Measure the original shaft position before removal (digital caliper recommended).

For M52TU/M54 engines, loss of oil pressure can lead to significantly higher repair costs.
