The DEI Black Glass Fiber Exhaust Wrap is designed to reduce unwanted and power-robbing underhood heat by wrapping headers and downpipes. Lower underhood temperatures result in a cooler air charge for improved performance, while retaining more heat within the exhaust system decreases exhaust density and increases exhaust flow.

Notes

Do not wrap catalytic converters, as overheating can reduce their lifespan. Use a heat shield instead.
Wrap is not designed to be moved or removed after heat cycling; fibers lose flexibility but retain thermal properties. Avoid wrapping flex-pipes or flex-joints.
Not recommended for titanium exhaust systems. Wrapping titanium can cause brittleness and premature cracking. Use a flexible heat shield as an alternative.
