The DEI Black Glass Fiber Exhaust Wrap is engineered to reduce under hood temperatures by up to 50%, resulting in a cooler air charge and improved engine performance. Notes:

Do not wrap catalytic converters, as overheating can reduce their lifespan. Consider using a dedicated heat shield instead.
Once heat-cycled, the wrap should not be moved or removed, as flexibility is lost but thermal properties remain unaffected. Avoid wrapping flex-pipes or flex-joints.
Not recommended for titanium exhaust systems, as excessive heat retention can cause brittleness and premature cracking. Use flexible heat shields for titanium applications.
