DEI Black Glass Fiber Exhaust Wrap is designed to reduce unwanted and power-robbing under hood heat by wrapping headers and down pipes. Lower under hood radiant heat results in a cooler air charge for improved performance, while keeping exhaust gases hotter within the exhaust system decreases exhaust density and increases exhaust flow.

Important Notes:

Do not wrap catalytic converters; overheating can reduce their lifespan. Use a dedicated shield if heat protection is required.
After heat cycling, the wrap should not be moved or removed as it loses flexibility, though thermal properties remain unaffected. Avoid wrapping flex-pipes or flex-joints.
Not recommended for titanium exhaust systems. Wrapping titanium can cause brittleness and premature cracking. Use flexible heat shields for these systems.
