DEI Black Glass Fiber Exhaust Wrap is engineered to reduce unwanted, power-robbing underhood heat by wrapping headers and downpipes. Lower radiant heat results in a cooler air charge and improved performance, while hotter exhaust gases within the system decrease exhaust density and increase flow.

Notes

Do not wrap catalytic converters, as overheating may reduce their lifespan. Use a dedicated shield if heat protection is needed.
Once heat cycled, the wrap loses flexibility and should not be moved or removed. Avoid wrapping flex-pipes or flex-joints.
Not recommended for titanium exhaust systems, as excessive heat retention can cause brittleness and cracking. For titanium, use flexible heat shields instead.
