Black Floor & Tunnel Shield is designed to help block engine and exhaust heat from entering the cabin while providing a flexible black finish. It’s made to form to common interior heat-transfer areas like firewalls, transmission tunnels, and floors.
Construction
- Embossed 10 mil aluminum face
- 1/8" composite glass-fiber core
- High-temperature, super-strong pressure-sensitive adhesive backing
- Proprietary high-temperature black coating
Key Features
- Peel-and-stick installation; easy to shape and trim
- Wind and water will not affect adhesive
- Minimum clearance required; only 3/16" thick
Heat Ratings
- Direct heat resistance: 1750°F
- Adhesive holds past 450°F
Notes
- Do not apply directly to exhaust components.
