DEI Floor & Tunnel Shield II (Black) — 50 cm x 120 cm (21" x 48") — DEI 50552

Black Floor & Tunnel Shield is designed to help block engine and exhaust heat from entering the cabin while providing a flexible black finish. It’s made to form to common interior heat-transfer areas like firewalls, transmission tunnels, and floors.

Construction

  • Embossed 10 mil aluminum face
  • 1/8" composite glass-fiber core
  • High-temperature, super-strong pressure-sensitive adhesive backing
  • Proprietary high-temperature black coating

Key Features

  • Peel-and-stick installation; easy to shape and trim
  • Wind and water will not affect adhesive
  • Minimum clearance required; only 3/16" thick

Heat Ratings

  • Direct heat resistance: 1750°F
  • Adhesive holds past 450°F

Notes

  • Do not apply directly to exhaust components.
