Battery Isolator

The Ecumaster Battery Isolator is a motorsport master relay device designed for FIA-compliant battery isolation and engine shutdown. It is engineered for harsh motorsport environments and weighs only 83g. With a full solid-state design and no mechanical components, it ensures long life and high reliability. The device includes built-in alternator load dump protection, eliminating the risk of damage to expensive electronic equipment during emergency shutdowns. Control is facilitated through two external switches or via a CAN-bus message, which can be sent from an Ecumaster PMU16 unit in the event of an impact or other incidents. The device is configurable through CAN-bus and provides diagnostic information valuable for setup and diagnosis. It is fully protected against overheating and over-current, with device status indicated by a multi-color LED light.
