Nissan RB Engines Crank & Cam Trigger Kit Specifications This trigger kit was developed by our partner MZR Garage to make the Nissan RB20 RB25 RB26 and RB30 engines more reliable and to make tuning and mapping work easier. In fact based on modern magnetic and Hall effect sensor technologies it guarantees significantly higher precision than Nissan's original angle sensor disks and is compatible with most programmable ECUs on the market. This kit is particularly recommended when upgrading or rebuilding an RB engine with an aftermarket ECU and is compatible with original pulleys or aftermarket pulleys (ATI Super Damper or others). It can be installed without removing the timing belt but requires milling a few millimeters off the oil pump housing (see photo). Be careful though this kit is not intended to replace original Nissan CAS (Crank Angle Sensor) and does not work with the OEM ECU. It is necessary to use a programmable ECU such as MaxxECU Link and so on.
