The DEI Muffler Shield Kit effectively addresses heat soak issues in vehicle interiors and components caused by mufflers located close to the floor. Based on the proven Floor and Tunnel II heat shield, this kit is engineered to wrap around nearly any size muffler and can be easily trimmed to fit most applications.
- Constructed from 10 mil dimpled aluminum with a 1/8" needle glass insulator
- Includes stainless steel positive locking ties for secure installation
- Significantly reduces radiant heat from the muffler, resulting in a cooler interior and improved protection from heat damage
- Direct heat resistance up to 700°F
Note: Intended for street legal vehicle use only. For performance racing or heavy industrial applications, use Form-A-Shield.
