Constructed from 10 mil dimpled aluminum bonded to a high temperature rated basalt thermal barrier, it withstands direct heat of up to 1400°F (760°C). This makes it suitable for application on exhaust headers, manifolds, turbo housings, and downpipes, significantly reducing radiant exhaust temperatures and helping to lower under-hood heat while retaining more heat within the exhaust system.
