Important Notes
- Wrapping catalytic converters is not recommended, as it may reduce their lifespan due to overheating.
- Do not wrap flex-pipes or flex-joints. Once heat cycled, the wrap should not be moved or removed as fibers lose flexibility, though thermal properties remain unaffected.
- Not recommended for titanium exhaust systems. Wrapping titanium can cause the alloy to become brittle and crack prematurely. Use flexible heat shields as an alternative.
